First up, Brule Bistro, located in the heart of Pineapple Grove in Downtown Delray. Brule first opened its doors back in 2008 and has been a staple in the Delray culinary scene ever since. Chef Suzanne Perrotto serves up Modern American cuisine in a vibrant and unpretentious environment. The menu at Brule is seasonal, comprised of dishes using locally sourced ingredients, and often includes a nod to Perottos Italian roots. Cocktails are always hand crafted and the beer selection features local brews from the surrounding area breweries. Just a quick jaunt down the street, our next date night joint is one you won’t want to miss. The Grove Delray, also located in Pineapple Grove, is an extraordinary treasure in the South Florida food scene. Since 2012, the Grove has been delivering a fine dining experience in a sophisticated setting without the stuffiness of traditional fine dining. Chef Michael Haycook delivers an absolutely delightful menu for the discerning diner, comprised of seasonal ingredients, in an intimate 26 seat restaurant. The menu changes entirely almost every two weeks, so there is always something exciting to look forward to. The Grove underwent an expansion in the Fall of last year, taking over the adjacent building and extending its existing footprint to accommodate additional diners. The additional space also made way for the Grove to include an expansive full bar, along with increased seating, in a swanky yet casual atmosphere.
